Christmas Adam!

Welcome, one and all, to this magical time called Christmas!

I must explain the awesome title there at the top of this post. I have the privillage of being constantly surrounded by comedians-born and bred. My mother and I have decided that we're going to start keeping a little journal of all of the crazy and random and FUNNY comments that we overhear during various parts of the day. These are my siblings, my permanent friends, and our constant entertianment. :)
Elias, the four-year-old, has been counting down. Each household must have a block, or chart or chain to mark the days left until Christmas. In our case, it's a snowman. He's very cute too. ;)
Here we are, the Wednesday before Christmas, and Elias is excited. He's been joyously accouncing, (holding up the all fingers involved as well), "Five days until Christmas!...Four days left, Haley!!" etc. At three days left, I hear another child's shouting from down the hall.

"It's Christmas Adam!" Christmas Adam? I questioned the informant.
Kadin looks up at me with his big blue eyes, the comedian of all the Brooksby clan.

"The day before Christmas Eve! Adam came before Eve, right?"

So now I celebrate Christmas Adam with you on December 23. :D
Christmas is an awesome time for our family. We get to celebrate with angels, shepherds, and even the sheep in our Christmas Eve Nativity. Recorded every year, this is a classic Christmas Tradition.
Just look at that shepherd! Makes you want to give up your job and join him. :) What a cute little guy!

And the angel to your right? He's an incredible singer. I'll try to upload the video Dad got of him in Sacrament meeting singing "Guard Him, Joseph." I don't think I've ever heard a more beautiful soprano voice sing that song.
